The US Open has completed the quarterfinals for men and women.

Kei Nishikori has managed to win against Marin Cilic 3-2, in a match that lasted 4 hours and 12 minutes. The match started in the best way for Croat, who won the first set 6-2. Anyhow, Japanese Nishikori overcame everything, winning the next two sets 6-4 7-6. However, Cilic did not give in to winning the fourth set with a 6-4 result, and consequently bringing the game to a final set. In this set, Nishikori proved more accurate by winning 6-4 of the whole match. In the semi-finals, the Japanese will face Novak Djokovic, who won many problems against Australianman Millman, who in the last round defeated world tennis legend Roger Federer.

Djokovic managed to win 6-3 6-4 6-4, not forgetting any Millman set.

As for women’s tennis, the 20-year-old Naomi Osaka talent managed to win against Ukrainian Tsarenko, losing just 2 games throughout the match, which was closed for 1 hour. In the semifinals, the Japanese will face the American Madison Keys. The latter also managed to win 6-4 6-3 against Spanish Spaniard Suarez Navarro.
