For their eighth consecutive time Real Madrid reach the UEFA Champions League quarter finals. This time they qualified thanks to the goals that came from Cristiano Ronaldo and Casemiro.

Real came in this match after winning the first leg with the result 3-1. During the first half Keylor Navas was put into serious action only once by the young talent Kylian Mbappe. Six minutes after the second half started Ronaldo scored with a header. With this goal he equalized Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s record.

Later Marco Verrati took his second yellow. Despite this PSG managed to equalize the result through Edinson Cavani. Ten minutes later Casemiro scored a deflected goal which also secured Real qualification.
