Premier League authorities have confirmed that there will be no full implementation of Video Assistant Referee, or the technology otherwise known as VAR.

VAR was implemented in several championships, where it has had the impact of changing many results.

The demand for VAR was huge among the fans in the Premier League. Also many different clubs joined the claim of the supporters.

However, with this issue being opened at a Premier League meeting, the clubs of this championship have decided against the full implementation of this system for the coming season.

The Premier League has confirmed that VAR will be used at FA Cup and Carabao Cup for the next season.

“We are looking for further improvements in the system, especially for communication at the stadium and for those who attend matches at home or around the world,” is declared in a Premier League statement.

This news will not be well received by fans, especially after Judge Michael Oliver’s decision in the Champions League semifinals, where many fans and senior officials demanded VAR’s fastest implementation in all football competitions to avoid suspicious decisions in crucial moments of big matches. / Flashsport24 /
