Home team will enter in new season with new coach Branko Vojinovic which has been coach of Vozdovac in season 2008/2009 and which is familiar to Vozdovac’s model of work. Former coach has given a chance to be assistant of Vladimir Ivic in Israeli super league. Under new coach, Vozdovac will probably play in classic 4-2-3-1 formation. The coach has quality team and the team goal in next season is to be in top 8 clubs in Serbia. Vozdovac was quite active in this transfer period. In club arrived a few quality players such as young midfielder Nisic (from Partizan), right winger Janjic (form OFK Belgrade), midfielder Zocevic (former captain of Borac Cacak) and veteran right back Mikic (32 years, former Crvena Zvezda player and couple Greek clubs). The noticeable players which have left the club are: centre back Gajic (to Olimpia, Slovenia), Stankovic (to Radnik Surdulica), midfielder Pavlovski has given free transfer, and midfielder Lukovic has returned to Crvena Zvezda due to the end of loan. For my opinion, Vozdovac is stronger than last year, they have combination of young and experienced players and I see them in the top 8 position. Vozdovac is one of the couple private clubs in Serbia and he has stabile finances and generally players have great condition while they are in the club. Also the club is doing great job with youth team and every year they promote couple of best young players.

OFK Backa managed to avoid relegation in last minute of final round last season, in my opinion with a lot of luck. Their team is not so strong and they will have problems this season to remain in the Super league. Their coach Dejan Celar will mostly use one of these two formations 4-4-2 and 5-3-2 . In OFK Backa arrived: right winger Mladenovic (from Larisa, Greece), midfielder Pantic (from Spartak), left back Grabez (from Bosnian first league) and midfielder Makaric has returned from loan period in Zvijezda (BiH). They have signed also couple of players from lower league sides but we must see if they will have a place in first team or they are here to be in reserves squad which is more expected. These players has left the club: first team striker Zvrko (moved to Iskra, Montenegro), best player of last season midfielder Lukovic has moved to Mouscoron(Belgium) and defender Varga has moved to TSC (Serbian First league). Main goal of Backa in new season will be to try to avoid relegation. The club has very modest finances and their player salaries are one of the lowest in the league.

The match will be played at Stadium Vozdovac, capacity 5000 places, which is located on the top of shopping center in Belgrade. The pitch has false grass and it is in good condition. Vozdovac don’t have strong fans bas and often their stadium is almost empty. Last season they played twice and both times Vozdovac has won 2:0 at their stadium and 3:0 at Backa stadium.
