Vojvodna didn’t have best start of new season with their new coach Aleksandar Veselinovic, they have two draws with same result 1:1. This game will be great opportunity for Vojvodina to win because they are stronger team than Rad. Coach Veselinovic will play in his favorite 4-2-3-1 formation in this match. Also, he will have all players at his disposal because their new first team center back Grabez is finally fit enough to start a game. Vojvodina’s striker Fofana is currently best goal scorer in the league, he scored twice in first two games of new season and he is proving that he will be great reinforcement for Vojvodina. Also, Nigerian winger Eze on left flank is in solid form and he assisted to both Fofana’s goals.
Rad has started new season with two straight defeats, and this season they will be in battle to avoid relegation, same as in last season where they have avoided it in last league game. Coach Milinkovic’s position at Rad is insecure, he is unhappy with Rad’s board and in next couple weeks he will see if the will remain at Rad. Good news for Rad is that Serbian football association has suspended their suspension and now, when they have paid their debts to former players, they can sign new players and make them available for match against Vojvodina. Rad will remain in their 4-2-3-1 formation, and it is possible that we will see striker Kasalica and midfielder Bainovic in the first team (two new players). Djordje Djenic, Rad’s captain and best player and he will not be in the team for the match against Vojvodina. He is indispensible player in Rad’s squad and it is possible that these poor results will ends when he returns to the team.
The match will be played at Stadium Karadjordje, capacity 15000. The pitch is in good condition, and we can expect solid visit in this match, I think that it will be around 5000 fans in this match. Vojvodina has good fans base as they are most popular team in Novi Sad, second biggest city in Serbia. Last season Vojvodina has won in both mutual matches with same result (2:1) and my opinion that this result can repeat in their next match.
