Home team will start new season with a match against solid Mladost Lucani team, team which was in Serbian Cup final few months ago, where they have lost against Partizan. Vojvodina would like to forget last season where they have finished at 8th place, they were last team in Super league Pley off stage. They will enter in new season with old coach, Aleksandar Veselinovic, former coach of Spartak Subotica, who took them at the end of last season and in last few rounds he managed to get the most out of his players. Vojvodina has changed many players from last season and also many new players arrived to the club. Some of the most valuable players from last season have left the club, as defenders Radovanovic (DC) and Lakicevic (DR), midfielders Jovancic (former captain), Putnicanin and Vukasovic. In my opinion these new players will have a place in first team: Fofana(ST from Cukaricki), Graovac (DC),Stojkovic (DR from Spartak Subotica) and Milojevic (MC from Cukaricki). They will open new season probably in 4-2-3-1 formation, as their coach prefere to play in it. Possible line up for this match will be Rockov – Stojkovic, Veselinovic, Graovac, Antic – Zlomisic,Zlicic – Mesarovic, Djuric, Arsic – Fofana. Vojvodina is in difficult situation, for a while they don’t have any consistency , they have changed coach couple times last season and a board members has changed also. Their main goal in new season will be to promote some young players from their academy, and their academy is only good thing in the club (my opinion), and they will probably find a place in Play off (top 8 clubs). They have changed the squad a lot since last season and it would took a while until good coach Veselinovic finds best first eleven.

On the opposite side Mladost was one of the teams which has not changed their team so much in this transfer period. Also their coach is still Nenad Milovanovic, club legend who is solid coach for Serbian league and he manager to play in cup final last season with very humble team. Mladost has lost in this transfer period their key player, defender Milosevic (transfer to Laval, 2nd French league) and club have left two rotation player, Trifunovic (ST) and Milosavljevic (AMC). New signing in the club is striker Nikola Asceric who has come to the club from abroad, and I think that he will be their first option In attack , as their striker Odita is still injured (broke a leg few months ago). Their coach will probably play in the same formation as in last season, so they will go out in some variation of 4-2-3-1 formation. My opinion is that Mladost has solid team and I expect them to finish somewhere around 7th to 10th place in new season.

The game will be played at Vojvodina’s stadium Karadjordje, capacity 15000 places. The pitch is in solid condition and good visit is expected because this game will be first game in new season and as always, the fans of Vojvodina have high expectation. Last season, these teams have played 3 times, in league matches Vojvodina has won twice, but in cup game , Mladost has won 1:0 at away game, and it is interesting that 3 days before that match, they have played in the league and Vojvodina has won 3:0 away. That fact is worth of mention.
