Mladost Lješkopolje vs Budućnost

Mladost is in good form in right time. They are now leaders in Second League and with five points advantage from rivals. That is main goal of this club in new season, to gain direct promotion to First League. Mladost also have ambitions to play in Europe and that is possible only if they win the cup. After first leg vs Budućnost this seems quite possible because they showed great defensive effort, they were dangerous from counters, scored from penalty spot and unluckily for them scored an own goal in final minutes. Mladost played on Saturday and won vs Arsenal 2-0. That match was played one day earlier, because Mladost wanted to have same time to prepare for this cup match as Budućnost. That shows us how they are serious in trying to go to semifinals. They lost last game on 30th September, so they are surely in good spell and with great confidence before this game. Coach Vojislav Pejović was chief of youth academy of Budućnost so he wants small revenge because he didn’t got chance to be first coach of the team or even assistant coach in past years. Mladost will played with best squad trying to make good result and this will be first match to be broadcasted from DG Arena, their home ground on regional TV Arena Sport, so one more reason for them to gave everything in this game.

Budućnost is in crisis, they didn’t won in last five, they draw four times in both competitions and lost against Zeta, just scoring three times in those matches. They are trying to find reasons why they are lacking victories, so after coach Brnović told the media that he and players must be on better level just to stay in Budućnost, they gave a statement in which they blamed poor referee judgments in games they didn’t won like last match in league vs Grbalj that ended 1-1 or even in cup game vs Mladost Lješkpolje. That just shows that pressure is really high and big moves are prepared in winter market, most of these players will leave after first part of the season so it is really strange atmosphere in dressing room. It is hard to see how coach Brnović could motivate some players after bad results and after harsh words for their performances. Budućnost played better vs Grbalj but still managed to gave easy goal and after that team from Radanovići had few chances to win in Podgorica.
