Recap
Lovćen did a favour to title pretenders in first half of the season with two draws with Sutjeska. In both matches team from Cetinje found a way to gain a point with two 1:1 draws and showed that Sutjeska has problems with team that show discipline in midfield and have tight defense. In first game Lovćen had great confidence scored first, missed few chances and conceded from one of just two Sutjeska chances. In match in Nikšić Sutjeska was far better team but they had great problems trying to convert dozen chances. It could be similar in this one, because neither teams were very active in transfer period. We could say that Lovćen tried to build better atmosphere in locker room cause they brought few players that played in their youth categories and gained experience in First league and abroad.
Sutjeska lost best player in Montenegro for 2018 Stefan Lončar who joined Istra as loaned footballer from Alaves. Other players that left didn’t have much minutes in first half of the season and with new players, ex Sutjeska Janković and Vlaisavljević, they now have better rotation and someone that just don’t need time to settle in new club. So, Sutjeska was clever in transfer period, very good in traning matches and without any problem in last three months. They have four points more than Zeta and Titograd and with seven points clear vs Budućnost this match is not crucial for them but could be proper sign for coach Rakojević is this team ready to dominate in second half of the season.
