Recap
Last year’s finalist of the Montenegrin Cup, FK Igalo, this year is stopped in the quarter finals. Although is the last round of the autumn championship, Igalo will play two more matches. The match against FK Jezero was postponed for Wednesday, December 5th, and the reason was difficult conditions for the game due to the rain. Matches against two last placed teams, FK Jezero and FK Berane, are of great importance for FK Igalo. FK Igalo is not yet safe, with 23 points, only 5 points more than FK Jezero. That’s why the match against Berane comes in the right time, with the victory they would move away from FK Jezero and so peacefully wait Wednesday and the match against them. However, it is certain that the hosts will have a difficult task even though they play against the team that is already with one leg in the Third League, both because of the bad pitch and the fact that they played a tough match in cup with Sutjeska. Coach Dusan Jevric could use the same eleven players who played against Sutjeska in the Cup. Much will depend on the mood of their best player this year, Miloš Pavićević, who was a scorer in the Cup against Sutjeska, despite defeat 2:1.
It is almost impossible for the club with the history it owns, in 18 games played, there is only one win and draw result. The only win was just against Igalo in the first round, although they lost points due to a failure to organize a match of younger categories. It is interesting that FK Berane players will go to a road early in the morning for Igalo, on Sunday at 06:00, and the game is starting at 13:00. However, this may be the smallest problem for FK Berane. Coach Slobodan Djukic still can not count on injured goalkeeper Stefan Kastratovic. Outside the team is also the striker Danilo Golubovic who will not play due to health problems. Adnan Ukovic is suspended. VukVulević and Marko Đurišić did not play against Dečić because of yellow cards but they are ready for Igalo.
