Recap
Club from Gabela last season was one of the positive surprises. With one of the youngest teams GOŠK finished the season at first place of Relegation Group (seventh in the global).
Coach Feđa Dudić has done a great job and this season will also lead the team.
There was a change in the squad, but not big. Departures that are worth mentioning is they from standard players Nardin Mulahusejnović (20, centre forward – to Zrinjski/Maribor), Matej Rodin (22, centre back – Zrinjski/Željezničar) and Stefan Barić (27, right midfield – Zrinjski).
New power should be Nermin Hajdarević (19, second striker – from Zrinjski), who came on loan from the current champion.
Regardless of the departure of a few important players, GOŠK proved to be great in the preparatory matches, where he also beat his rivals in the first round of new season Željezničar. In a general check, he celebrates against Čapljina with 4:1.
„They have seen us recently that we are not a bit of a bite. We are respecting them, they are favorites, but we will not give up. I expect a good game and a positive result“, said GOŠK coach Feđa Dudić ahead of tomorrow’s match.
Željezničar comes to Gabela on the wings of victory against Narva Trans and passing to the second round of qualification of the Europa League.
He won the Cup last season, but finished championship in second place and now wants more.
The team suffered a lot of changes, and a new coach (Slobodan Krčmarević) also came in.
Biggest handicap is the departure of Daniel Graovac (24, centre back – to Mouscron), which will be replaced by Matej Rodin (22, centre back – from Zrinjski).
On the other side, the biggest reinforcement should be Sulejman Krpić (27, centre forward – Tractor Sazi), who has already been shown in the Premier League playing for Sloboda Tuzla.
“It’s not a phrase, but it’s an extremely unpleasant visit to Gabela. As for all teams in the league, so for us. We are not so powerful in comparison to other teams, just like any other team in the league, so we can not enter the points with certainty ahead of time. They are very strong and uncomfortable team. I was fortunate enough to have seen it in the friendly match we lost to them, although we did the best half-time. They proved to be an extremely strong nut, but our goal is known. Our goal is to win, a good start season, and a continuation of a good series that we started with two wins“, said coach of Željezničar Slobodan Krčmarević.
In this match Željezničar will be able to count on all players except Jovan Blagojević (30, defensive midfield), who is injured.
