After successful start of champions league qualifications Crvena Zvezda will play their first Super league derby against Radnicki Nis. CZ are current champions and in their first 4 games of new season they didn’t allowed their opponents to score against them. This match will be interesting as both teams are playing qualifications for European competition and they will have some fatigue players. CZ with their coach Milojevic often plays in domestic competition in 4-2-3-1 formation. Coach of CZ has two good players in every position so he will rest some important players in this match. We know that CZ have some problems with injured players, so it is possible that winger Srnic and new striker Stoiljkovic will probably miss this game, or they will get to play in second part of this game. Also, key midfielder Krsticic has got some cut on his face in last game against Suduva, so coach Milojevic will probably rest him too.

On the opposite side, Radnicki Nis has started great new season with their new coach Nenad Lalatovic. They have won 2 matches against Gzira (Malta) and against Proleter in last round of Serbian super league. But due to the high intensity of matches, coach Lalatovic will have some problems with injured players. First, their center back Crnomarkovic got injured, than midfielders Haksic and then their right back Aksentijevic had some problems with injury. Crnomarkovic and Haskic are very important players in Radnicki squad and their loss will be big problem for Radnicki. Beside these players, their midfielder Babic is absent few months due to the knee injury. Radnicki will play against Macabi (Israel) on Thursday and they will have some fatigue players for sure. Coach Lalatovic will probably play defensive in this game, in some variation of 4-1-4-1 formation and his main goal will be to stop CZ from scoring.

The game will be played at Rajko Mitic stadium, capacity 55000 places, which is in great condition. The stands will not be full but good support is expected. Also we can expect some fans of Radnicki at the stadium. . It is important to mention that Lalatovic was coach of CZ couple years ago, and while he was active player he was CZ captain and he never hided that he is their biggest fan. This game is derby match of 2nd round of super league and I expect one good game, and I think that CZ will win as they have quality to do that. Last season these teams played 3 times and CZ has won every time (3:0, 4:0 and 3:1).
