A bad news has come to Honda squad, as its two 2019 pilots, Marc Marquez’s current world champion and newcomer Jorge Lorenzo have undergone an operation in the last 24 hours.

Lorenzo has performed a surgical intervention on the right foot, to recover the fracture worries, while Marquez has operated the left shoulder, which has emerged several times the country during this season.

Both of these surgical interventions were carried out now so that Spanish pilots can recover from the operation and be ready in February when they launch their first official tests for 2019 (6-8 February in Sepang’s Piracy). Honda hopes that pilots will be ready during that period and test the new engine in a strong duel between them for the championship title next season at Moto GP.
