After grandfather, father, last night was the turn of Marko Alonso to play with the representative.

Grandfather

The 27-year-old became one of the seven players who played in 3 generations with the representative. Markos’ father,  Marcos Alonso Peña a star at Barcelona, has won the title alongside Maradona and Geri Lineker.

Marcos Alonso Peña, played several seasons in Spain’s top flight, most notably for Atlético Madrid and FC Barcelona, and both represented Spain at senior level.

Alonso’s grandfather, Marcos Alonso Imaz, was a key point in Real Madrid’s history of winning five consecutive European cups. The Alonso family is one of the biggest dynasties in football, while the boy becomes the first Spanish player for three generations to wear the national shirt.

Father
