Recap
This will be the biggest match of the weekend at Ruaraka Stadium, Tusker’s training ground. Both teams are big in the Kenyan Premier League and this will be one of the most unpredictable matches.
Key players
Tusker have strikers Robert Achema and Timothy Otieno to look up to for the goals. In midfield Brian Osumba and Jackson Macharia will run the strings. Newly signed utility man John Macharia has scored twice in the two games he has played and he will also be important in the game.
For Sofapaka, strikers Kepha Aswani, Steven Waruru and Pistone Mutamba will be vital in getting them the goals. In midfield Teddy Osok and Eli Asieche will do duty.
Team news
Tusker will be without key midfielder Hashim Sempala who is suspended. The defensive midfielder will miss two games after picking a red card against Kariobangi Sharks. Sofapaka will welcome back defender Omar Moussa who returns from suspension after missing the match against Sony Sugar two weeks ago.
Distance/Pitch/style of play
Both teams are located in Nairobi a short distance from the city center. The pitch is not the best but reduced rains makes it playable. Both teams play quick attacking football.
