Nzoia Sugar has opted to move its home time to Kisumu instead of its alternative home-ground Mumias Sports Complex, Sudi Stadium cannot host this match as it is rated as ‘high risk’ match.
Kisumu is Gor’s alternative Home ground and they enjoy a strong following there. The Stadium will almost be full of the Kenyan Premier League supporters, Nzoia on the other hand have a handful of supporters who will travel to Kisumu for the match.

Elvis Rupia scored his 15th goal of the season for Nzoia on Wednesday and despite his future at the club being uncertain, he remains key player for Nzoia. Peter Gin in midfield and Captain Vincent Ngesa in defense are all important players for Nzoia Sugar.
Gor attackers, Meddie Kagere and Francis Kahata both scored during the mid-week match against Wazito. They are key players for the Kenyan champions and will prove crucial again on Sunday. Harun Shakava in defense and goalkeeper Boniface Oluoch are also key players for K’Ogalo.
Team news
Nzoia will welcome Luke Namanda back to the team. The attacker has been out with an injury. Keeper Mustapha Oduor is out with a knee injury, he recently picked. Striker Brian Yakhama will miss the match with a groin problem. Yakhama has not played for the team this season. On Gor’s side midfielder Humphrey Mieno is a doubt after he was forced off with an injury against Wazito on Wednesday.
