Recap
2. round, Sunday (July 29) (20:00)
New club in Serbian super league, Dinamo has really difficult two games in their first season in Super league. In first game, they have lost against CZ (3:0) and now they will play against Serbian cup winners, Partizan. In first game they didn’t show to much against CZ and their coach said that he expected more from his team, but he admit that his team is still not so good to play against best Serbian teams. In first match they went out in defensive 4-5-1 formation but they didn’t resist too much time against CZ. Dinamo’s coach and president, Dragan Antic will have all players at his disposal accept midfielder Stevanovic who’s got slightly injured few days ago.
On the opposite side, Partizan lost surprisingly in their first match against Radnik (1:0), and the coach Djukic was devastated due to that bad result. In his defense, he has started good in qualification for EL where they have beaten twice Rudar from Montenegro and in Thursday they will play at their stadium against Trakai from Lithuania. Coach Djukic often plays in 4-4-2 but due to the problems with injured strikers (Nikolic is out for a while, Ozegovic too, young striker Kokir is not ready for his senior debut) he will change Partizan’s formation to 4-2-3-1 and their only striker will be recently arrived striker Ricardo Gomes, who showed to everyone by scoring twice in first two games that he will be great signing for Partizan. Big pressure is on coach Djukic to achieve a win in this match but I think that Partizan have enough quality to win in this game. Best part of Partizan’s team is their midfield, midfielders Pantic and Suma are in good form and with one move they can change the course of this match.
The match will not be played at Dinamo stadium at Vranje due to the fact that this stadium doesn’t meet Super league criteria, so they will play as host at Radnik’s stadium, in the same place where Partizan have lost just one week ago. The pitch is in solid condition and the stands will be full, the spectators at south of the Serbia loves football and they want to support their team in first big “home” match in Serbian super league. This match will be first mutual match of these two teams and I expect a win for Partizan, or their coach will be under big pressure of being sacked at the start of new season.
