Recap
We can freely say that Široki Brijeg has suffered biggest losses. Two national team players Luka Menalo (21, left winger – to Dinamo Zagreb) and Stjepan Lončar (21, central midfield – Rijeka) are sold, and they coach Goran Sablić also left.
Boris Pavić inherited him on the bench but he met with elimination in the first qualifying round of the European League from Domžale.
A big question is what they can do this season, and first game against Tuzla City could give some guidance.
Tuzla City is a big project of the former president of Sloboda Azmir Husić, who invested a lot of money in that.
Actually, this is Sloga Simin Han, which won the First League of FBiH and in the meantime changed her name.
A lot of good players have come and the biggest reinforcement is surely Miloš Stojčev (31, attacking midfield – Platanias), former player of Sarajevo, who was part of the champion’s generation from 2015.
It is certain that this club can spoil plans for many, and this is what new coach Slobodan Starčević believes.
“The higher goal is certainly to get involved among the four best league teams,” said Slobodan Starčević, ambitious strategist of club from Simin Han.
