Radnik Bijeljina vs Sarajevo

Radnik Bijeljina vs Sarajevo

Recap

Radnik last season played in Championship Group and he proved to be very uncomfortable.
Captain and the best player Dino Beširović (24, defensive midfield – to Hajduk Split) left them, which will be an irrecoverable loss.
Experienced players Radosav Aleksić (32, centre back – from Krupa) and Ognjen Đelmić (29, right midfield – Čelik Zenica) are the biggest reinforcements for now.
The main goal of the club is to avoid the struggle for survival.
„What we are certain is that the guys will give the maximum in fulfilling our goal of avoiding a struggle for survival and trying to create a few more youthful and quality players that we certainly have in our ranks“, said Mladen Žižović, coach of Radnik.
As we know, Sarajevo finished last season in the third position. It is below expectations of the club, who wants to fight for the title.
At the beginning of this season they will have the support of their most trusted fans, who boycotted matches since April.
They helped them to go to the second qualifying round of the Europa League, after they dumped Banants from Armenia.
Watching the roster, they did not have much changes. Main departure is that of Elvis Sarić (27, central midfield – Suwon Bluewings), one of their best players and also national team player.
Should be mentioned arrival of Aladin Šišić (26, right midfield – Mladost Doboj Kakanj) and Haris Handžić (28, centre forward – Zrinjski Mostar), which will surely bring something to the team.
Coach Husref Musemić gives plenty of opportunity to young players, which also was the case in the last two matches of the European League.
„In the last two seasons Sarajevo had a bad start. We just want to start well. In front of us are unpleasantly visit to Radnik. We asked them for a delay due to heavy schedule, but they did not give it to us“, said Sarajevo coach Husref Musemić, who still can not count on long time injured Almir Bekić (29, left back) and Ljuban Crepulja (24, defensive midfield).
